IPL PHOTOFACIAL

Fotofacial is a non-abrasive and non-invasive rejuvenation of your skin using the remarkable new technology of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL). Spider veins, or telangiectasias, are small, thin, blood vessels visible beneath the skin. They appear most commonly on the face and legs and may look like a series of lines, tree branches, or a spider- or web-like shape with a dark center. It is estimated that they affect nearly half of adult women in the U.S. They are not usually harmful but they can be painful.

Varicose veins can indicate poor vascular health if the swelling is caused by phlebitis (inflamed tender vein), thrombosis (clot), or venous stasis ulcers (open sores).

It is not entirely known what causes spider and varicose veins, although likely factors are heredity, pregnancy and hormones. Women are more likely than men to develop problems -- more than 20 percent of women suffer from mild to severe varicose veins.

ROSACEA

Rosacea may be treated with the IPL Photofacial Laser . Rosacea is a chronic skin disease that causes redness and swelling on the face. The scalp, neck, ears, chest, back and/or eyes may also be affected. Symptoms range from red pimples, lines and visible blood vessels to dry or burning skin and a tendency to flush easily. Many people find that the emotional effects of rosacea – such as low self-confidence and avoidance of social situations – are more difficult to handle than the physical ones. Although it can affect anyone, rosacea typically appears in light-skinned, light-haired adults aged 30-50.

Harmony Weekend Facelift -

The Weekend Facelift was developed as a modification of several facelift techniques to create a more youthful jawline and neck without the downside and downtime of a traditional facelift. The procedure involves a considerably smaller scar than a standard facelift and is performed in an office operating suite under local anesthesia.
One of the many advantages of The Harmony Weekend Facelift is the time it takes to have the procedure - about 1 hour. The term "weekend facelift" is used because some patients can have the procedure on a Friday and return to work on Monday. However, many people do take a few more days off before returning to work.

Tummy Tuck

A flat firm abdomen... everyone wants one, but few women over 30 actually have one. Blame it on aging, on pregnancies, and on chocolate cake. As we age, the body preferentially stores fat in the lower abdomen and hips; and with pregnancy the abdominal wall and the abdominal skin stretches to a point where it can't shrink back as tight as it was before pregnancy; in addition, the changes of pregnancy often include the development of unsightly stretch marks or an unsightly C-Section scar. Diet and exercise will have NO effect on any of these changes.

The tummy tuck procedure is one of the most satisfying procedures in all of plastic surgery because it has the ability to treat all of these undesirable changes. It will remove the lower abdominal fat (pooch), remove all of the lower abdominal stretch marks, tighten the stretched out abdominal wall, and revise the C-Section scar if present. The scar can usually be hidden in the underwear or bikini line.

The best results are often seen when the tummy tuck procedure is combined with either a breast enhancement procedure or liposuction of the hips and thighs..

Liposuction

Liposuction is now the most popular cosmetic surgical procedure in America. This should come as no surprise given the growing disillusionment with the "fad" diets that are presently available. If you are like most patients, you have tried one or ten of these "fad" diets with very little success. In addition, you have exercised to the limits of what your children and or schedule will allow.

What most people don't realize, is that there are certain privileged areas of fat that are generally the first to develop and the last to go with diet and exercise alone. The most common areas include the lower belly (the pooch), the waist (love handles), and the hips (saddle-bags). Other areas include the chin and neck, the knees, and the inner thighs.

Recent advances in liposuction have led us to routinely perform what is referred to as the "Tumescent" technique often combined with the Ultrasound Assisted Liposuction Technique. The Ultrasonic Liposuction technique is a state of the art technique which uses ultrasonic energy to "melt" and liquefy the fat prior to its removal. The technique allows a more controlled removal of fat from affected areas. It is also thought to provide a more effective tightening of the overlying skin.

The Tumescent Technique refers to the delivery of highly dilute anesthetic and epinephrine-containing solutions into the treated areas before the liposuction begins. The technique allows the procedure to be performed with dramatically lower blood loss (therefore safer); and because the solution contains an anesthetic, discomfort after surgery is significantly reduced.

 

Lip Augmentation

Lip augmentation creates fuller, plumper lips and reduces fine wrinkles around the mouth. Lips may be injected with collagen or with fat transferred from another site in the patient's body. Both liquid collagen and fat are absorbed and repeat treatments are necessary to maintain results. Newer, longer-lasting options include implantable materials like AlloDerm and SoftForm.

Restylane - back

Overview

Restylane® is a safe and natural cosmetic dermal filler that restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds.

Restylane is the only cosmetic dermal filler made of non-animal-based hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that already exists in the human body. The hyaluronic acid in Restylane is a crystal-clear gel called NASHAT or Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid. NASHA is completely biocompatible with human hyaluronic acid.

Unlike other hyaluronic acid-based products, such as those made from rooster combs, only Restylane is non-animal-based. This quality virtually eliminates any risk of animal-based disease transmission or allergic reaction.

Overview

BOTOX® Cosmetic has been established as one of the safest and most effective ways in eliminating the fine lines in the upper face. Perlane
