The Micro-Laser Peel is part of the nonsurgical armamentarium available. The Peel uses the state of the art SCITON Laser with ERBIUM to resurface the skin. The goal is to remove evidence of sun-damage, blemishes, and fine lines in a manner that is not only effective, but has minimal down-time and complications
The procedure is often performed as part of a series of 4 peels. There is minor discomfort which is alleviated by a topical anesthetic which is applied to the skin an hour prior to the procedure. The peel then takes approximately 30 minutes to perform. Actual discomfort is minor for most patients.
Following the procedure, the skin appears as if you have had a severe sun-burn. The redness and burning lasts approximately 24 hours; in which time cold wash cloths and ointments are amply applied to reduce the discomfort. Over the next 3-5 days, baby new skin

IPL PHOTOFACIAL
Fotofacial is a non-abrasive and non-invasive rejuvenation of your skin using the remarkable new technology of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL). IPL Fotofacials can improve the signs of sun damage, rosacea and brown spots on the face, hands and body. It has also been used to reduce the appearance of mild acne scars, dark circles around the eyes and fine lines around the eyes and mouth.
The IPL Fotofacial handpiece is gently pressed to the skin and painless pulses of light are emitted. You can expect at least a 50% improvement with each treatment. Usually 4-6 treatment sessions lasting about 20 minutes each will provide you with beautiful results. There is no recuperation time – with an IPL Fotofacial you can return to work or resume your normal activities on the same day. You will notice a gradual, natural-looking improvement in your skin with time. IPL is a safe solution tailor-made to your skin type and condition.
SPIDER VEIN REMOVAL
The treatment of spider veins and moderately sized varicose veins has now been revolutionized with the new Sciton Laser Vein Removal System. Treatment is now more precise and effective.
Spider veins, or telangiectasias, are small, thin, blood vessels visible beneath the skin. They appear most commonly on the face and legs and may look like a series of lines, tree branches, or a spider- or web-like shape with a dark center. It is estimated that they affect nearly half of adult women in the U.S. They are not usually harmful but they can be painful.
Varicose veins can indicate poor vascular health if the swelling is caused by phlebitis (inflamed tender vein), thrombosis (clot), or venous stasis ulcers (open sores).
It is not entirely known what causes spider and varicose veins, although likely factors are heredity, pregnancy and hormones. Women are more likely than men to develop problems -- more than 20 percent of women suffer from mild to severe varicose veins.
ROSACEA
Rosacea may be treated with the IPL Photofacial Laser . Rosacea is a chronic skin disease that causes redness and swelling on the face. The scalp, neck, ears, chest, back and/or eyes may also be affected. Symptoms range from red pimples, lines and visible blood vessels to dry or burning skin and a tendency to flush easily. Many people find that the emotional effects of rosacea – such as low self-confidence and avoidance of social situations – are more difficult to handle than the physical ones. Although it can affect anyone, rosacea typically appears in light-skinned, light-haired adults aged 30-50.
Although it is not yet known what causes rosacea. IPL Photofacial may reduce the associated redness and flushing.

Harmony Weekend Facelift -
The Weekend Facelift was developed as a modification of several facelift techniques to create a more youthful jawline and neck without the downside and downtime of a traditional facelift. The procedure involves a considerably smaller scar than a standard facelift and is performed in an office operating suite under local anesthesia.
One of the many advantages of The Harmony Weekend Facelift is the time it takes to have the procedure - about 1 hour. The term "weekend facelift" is used because some patients can have the procedure on a Friday and return to work on Monday. However, many people do take a few more days off before returning to work.
Breast Augmentation
Breast enlargement procedures are the most common procedures. Women like the fact that they are given a choice of minimal incision procedures. These not only include the Transaxillary Augmentation Procedure (where the incision is hidden under the armpit), but also include the more traditional Periareolar Incision and the Inframammary Incision Techniques. Most implants are placed under the muscle. The advantages include a lower rate of complications, a more natural appearance, and easier interpretation of mammograms after surgery.
Eyelid Enhancement
The eyes show the signs of aging before any other area on the face. And as you may have seen in yourself, this can affect either the upper and/or the lower eyelids. Eyelid surgery, along with the mini-facelift, has become a specialty. Eyelid surgery is the second most common cosmetic surgery procedure performed in the United States. Women and men are lining up to take advantage of the newer techniques provided.
Breast Reduction
In national surveys: The breast reduction procedure routinely produces one of the highest satisfaction rates in all of plastic surgery. This is because the purpose of the procedure is not purely cosmetic; most women think of it as a medically necessary procedure (covered by insurance). Oversized breasts are often painful, cause back and neck pain, and cause rashes and skin irritations. They also make it difficult to exercise comfortably; and the stares, the unwelcome attention, and the rude comments are often difficult to bear. These are just a few reasons why women with oversized breasts choose breast reduction surgery for help.
Breast Lift
As the years go by: Almost every woman notices a gradual decrease in the size, shape, and firmness of her breasts. Gravity, pregnancy, breast feeding, and weight changes all take their toll. The breast eventually sags; losing its youthful contours. The breasts may look and feel old- but they don't have to. A breast lift can help. A breast lift can reshape, rejuvenate, and lift the breasts to its normal location of youth. It can also reduce the size of an enlarged nipple-areola complex.
The procedure is often combined with a tummy tuck or other gynecology procedure for optimum body contouring.
Tummy Tuck
A flat firm abdomen... everyone wants one, but few women over 30 actually have one. Blame it on aging, on pregnancies, and on chocolate cake. As we age, the body preferentially stores fat in the lower abdomen and hips; and with pregnancy the abdominal wall and the abdominal skin stretches to a point where it can't shrink back as tight as it was before pregnancy; in addition, the changes of pregnancy often include the development of unsightly stretch marks or an unsightly C-Section scar. Diet and exercise will have NO effect on any of these changes.
The tummy tuck procedure is one of the most satisfying procedures in all of plastic surgery because it has the ability to treat all of these undesirable changes. It will remove the lower abdominal fat (pooch), remove all of the lower abdominal stretch marks, tighten the stretched out abdominal wall, and revise the C-Section scar if present. The scar can usually be hidden in the underwear or bikini line.
The best results are often seen when the tummy tuck procedure is combined with either a breast enhancement procedure or liposuction of the hips and thighs..
Liposuction
Liposuction is now the most popular cosmetic surgical procedure in America. This should come as no surprise given the growing disillusionment with the "fad" diets that are presently available. If you are like most patients, you have tried one or ten of these "fad" diets with very little success. In addition, you have exercised to the limits of what your children and or schedule will allow.
What most people don't realize, is that there are certain privileged areas of fat that are generally the first to develop and the last to go with diet and exercise alone. The most common areas include the lower belly (the pooch), the waist (love handles), and the hips (saddle-bags). Other areas include the chin and neck, the knees, and the inner thighs.
Recent advances in liposuction have led us to routinely perform what is referred to as the "Tumescent" technique often combined with the Ultrasound Assisted Liposuction Technique. The Ultrasonic Liposuction technique is a state of the art technique which uses ultrasonic energy to "melt" and liquefy the fat prior to its removal. The technique allows a more controlled removal of fat from affected areas. It is also thought to provide a more effective tightening of the overlying skin.
The Tumescent Technique refers to the delivery of highly dilute anesthetic and epinephrine-containing solutions into the treated areas before the liposuction begins. The technique allows the procedure to be performed with dramatically lower blood loss (therefore safer); and because the solution contains an anesthetic, discomfort after surgery is significantly reduced.
Lip Augmentation
Lip augmentation creates fuller, plumper lips and reduces fine wrinkles around the mouth. Lips may be injected with collagen or with fat transferred from another site in the patient's body. Both liquid collagen and fat are absorbed and repeat treatments are necessary to maintain results. Newer, longer-lasting options include implantable materials like AlloDerm and SoftForm.
Nose Sculpture
Reshaping the nose is the most popular plastic surgery procedure in the world. An experienced surgeon with a keen sense of aesthetics can modify and improve virtually any aspect of your nose. Nasal refinement (rhinoplasty) can reduce the overall size, improve the tip, remove a bump, widen or narrow the width, or even improve the angle between the nose and the upper lip. The revolutionary digital imaging software we include in our consultation will provide you with a method of predicting what you may potentially expect from nose refining surgery.
* Large noses can be made smaller
* Small noses can be made larger
* Button noses can be made more elegant
* Crooked noses can be made straight
* Nasal humps can be flattened
Restylane - back
Overview
Restylane® is a safe and natural cosmetic dermal filler that restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds.
Restylane is the only cosmetic dermal filler made of non-animal-based hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that already exists in the human body. The hyaluronic acid in Restylane is a crystal-clear gel called NASHAT or Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid. NASHA is completely biocompatible with human hyaluronic acid.
Unlike other hyaluronic acid-based products, such as those made from rooster combs, only Restylane is non-animal-based. This quality virtually eliminates any risk of animal-based disease transmission or allergic reaction.
Based on clinical studies3, Restylane treatments produce a very low occurrence of adverse events. The most commonly reported side effects were temporary redness and swelling at the injection site. These effects typically resolve within two to three days.
Restylane® has been used in more than 1.5 million treatments in over 60 countries to correct a variety of wrinkles and to enhance the appearance of the lip border. It is currently approved in the U.S. for the treatment of facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds, which are the lines from the nose to the corners of the mouth.
Clinical studies have shown the average Restylane® treatment results can last six months or even longer. The unique NASHAT technology helps maintain the cosmetic effect until the injected material is nearly gone.
Restylane® is different from BOTOX® Cosmetic®.
Restylane is a natural, cosmetic filler. BOTOX® Cosmetic is a drug that blocks nerve transmission and relaxes the underlying muscles. Many patients have been very pleased after receiving treatment with both products.
Restylane is different than other hyaluronic acid-based products.
Unlike other hyaluronic acid-based products, such as those made from rooster combs, only Restylane is non-animal based. This quality virtually eliminates any risk of animal-based disease transmission or allergic reaction.
Restylane is different from bovine collagen.
Restylane is proven to deliver a longer lasting effect than traditional collagen3 with virtually no risk of animal-based disease transmission or allergic reaction. Bovine collagen is derived from cowhide and requires an allergy test. Restylane can be administered without pretesting, so no waiting is required.

JUVÉDERM™ Injectable Gel (Juvaderm)
JUVÉDERM™ Injectable Gel is the newest dermal filler on the market, can be used to treat frown lines, smile lines, vertical lip lines, and acne scars. and is recommended to last six to nine months. JUVÉDERM™ Injectable Gel cosmetic facial fillers! JUVÉDERM™ Injectable Gel is a ‘next generation’ family of smooth, long-lasting gel dermal fillers, and the latest advance in hyaluronic acid cosmetic filler technology. Hyaluronic acid, a complex sugar already found naturally in the body, has become a favored compound for replenishing the areas of the face where the skin’s volume and fullness has been lost.
In the body, hyaluronic acid fills the space between collagen and elastin fibers of the skin. It is present in all living cells; attracting and binding water, hydrating and giving the skin smoothness and volume. However, as the body ages, the ability of the body’s cells to manufacture its own hyaluronic acid is diminished, resulting in the loss of skin volume, producing folds and wrinkles.
JUVÉDERM™ Injectable Gel is biosynthetic and of non-animal origin. Since it is not created from an animal source, there is little chance of allergic reaction. The formula is highly biocompatible, and no testing is required prior to administration. It has been proven to be safe and effective for skin of all types and colors.

More Information About BOTOX® Cosmetic Injections - back
Overview
BOTOX® Cosmetic has been established as one of the safest and most effective ways in eliminating the fine lines in the upper face. It is one of the most popular nonsurgical cosmetic treatments available; treating close to 3 to 4 patients a day. It is most often used for 3 areas; the horizontal "worry" lines of the forehead, the vertical "angry" lines between the eyebrows, and the fine "crows feet" lines around the eyes. The miracle of BOTOX® Cosmetic is that it provides a nonsurgical option to problems the plastic surgeon often used to operate on.

Perlane
Perlane® restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds). After your treatment, you might have some swelling, redness, pain, and bruising. This will normally last less than seven days. Although rare, red or swollen small bumps may occur. If you have had herpes before, an injection can cause the herpes to return. In rare circumstances, the doctor may inject into a blood vessel, which can damage the skin. To avoid bruising and bleeding, you should not use Perlane if you have recently used drugs that thin your blood or prevent clotting. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or under 18, you shouldn’t use Perlane®
Perlane is an injectable filler used to treat deep facial lines, augment the lips and contour the cheeks and chin. Perlane is made by Q-Med, the Swedish company that produces Restylane®, Perlane contains purified hyaluronic acid, a sugar found naturally in the body that works with collagen to keep the skin smooth and supple. It is hypoallergenic and so does not require a pre-treatment skin test. With its unique ability to bind with water, Perlane continues to perform up to 60% longer than collagen.
